Registration
For the 2026 race we are able to host a maximum of 12 rigs (max 3 teams per rig) or 25 teams this year and will have a 10-dog race with two 32.5 mile legs. Please keep in mind that this is a wilderness race. Every effort is made to prepare a trouble-free trail. However, we have experienced white-outs and water on our trail, as well as extreme temperatures. We strongly encourage you to consider your readiness for this kind of race.
Because of our small capacity for number of rigs / teams, we will hold a lottery that will be open from November 1 to 7th. At that time, entries will be drawn and remaining open slots will be available for normal registration.

After notification that entry has been awarded, race entry fee must be made through the Square Site button on the Gunflint Mail Run website. Payment and Registration Forms must be submitted before registration is considered complete.
The registration form and musher waiver form must both be filled out and emailed to Beth at GunflintMailRunREG@gmail.com. The registration form can be found here. The musher waiver form can be found here. The registration fee remains unchanged at $200 and includes the Musher Banquet meal Friday night for the musher and one handler as well as breakfast on Saturday morning before the race.
Due to limited parking space available, we request that separate trailers not be used if at all possible. If you must bring a trailer, please indicate so on your registration form.
