The Gunflint Mail Run Board has approved running a smaller version of the Gunflint Mail Run Dog Sled Race on January 9, 2021.

We will run the 65 mile 8-dog race only this year, following the course and rules of the 8-dog race from past years.

The race will be capped at 20 8-dog teams with entry by lottery. Click here for more info on the lottery.

Due to current business conditions, we will unfortunately not be able to guarantee a purse this year.

NOTE: NO SPECTATORS WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE RACE START.  Trail Center (including bathrooms!) will be closed to the public. Spectators are encouraged to view the race along the course.
